The school was established in 1996 and has sister schools in two other Costa Rican locations (Playa Flamingo and San Joaquín de Flores). Located on the main road leading out from Santa Elena, it is a modern and fully-equipped building surrounded by pine trees and with stunning views of the cloud forest and even the Gulf of Nicoya.
